Politics are part of our everyday lives just like art is part of our life. Both influence and impact us on a personal and societal level. The theme of the 2021 EveryLibrary Artist in Residency Program is to bring the context of Libraries and Politics closer to the audience by inserting playful more tangible elements such as art into the framework.

Registration for 5K Your Way For Libraries is officially open! Join EveryLibrary as we raise $50,000 to ensure stable funding and access to libraries for generations to come on September 26 -October 2, 2021.  

D.C. School Librarians SAVED!!

We've been working to support the students of D.C. Public Schools by helping to fight for their right to access to their school libraries for nearly two years.  I'm so happy to report that two years of advocacy work has paid off.

Rapid Response For Niles-Maine Library

If you’ve been following the news about the Niles-Maine District Library over the past few weeks, you’ve seen a group of radical activist board members on a mission to defund the library from the inside. That’s why EveryLibrary responded rapidly and stood with the local Coalition and ASFCME in opposing these draconian cuts to the library at the #savenileslibrary rally.  

Sign Your Library Up for National Voter Registration Day 2021!

This year, National Voter Registration Day is on September 28, 2021 and we’re encouraging all libraries in the United States to take part in helping their community members sign up to vote.
