Our colleagues at Urban Librarians Unite put on one of the best conferences in libraries.
Front line, management, and director level folks all have something to learn and share. ULU has kept the costs for their 2015 Conference really low, but we know there are plenty of library people who can't personally afford the $35 registration. We're so excited by this conference what we're sponsoring five (5) people's registration. It's a "needs based" application: simply tell us that you honestly can't swing it otherwise and we'll take care of registration for five of you. Email our exec director at [email protected] confidentially to "apply". It's first-come, and we'll update this post when all 5 seats are taken. Please note that all other costs associated with your attendance are your own responsibility.

If it's a good conference for you, we'd love to publish or cross promote your learning/outcomes, but that isn't a requirement. If you want to give us a shout out, that's cool but not required either. Last year, I did a plenary session and was moved by the engagement and energy of the sessions and speakers. We're happy to share that with 5 people who otherwise couldn't.
