Vote “FOR” Winter Park Library Endorsement

EveryLibrary today announces our endorsement of the Vote For Winter Park Library - Parking - Events Center campaign on the March 15, 2016 ballot. 

EveryLibrary is excited for Winter Park.  We support this campaign and encourage you to Vote FOR this opportunity to build a new 21st century library and help revitalize MLK Park with a vibrant new events center with parking on the West Side.

The current Winter Park library does not adequately meet the needs of the community. The library board and staff have developed a comprehensive plan for a new, 21st century library to serve this growing and attractive community. The planning process was open, inclusive, and reached out to all parts of Winter Park. The plan anticipates the needs of Winter Park residents for a library of the right size that will serve as a new anchor on the West Side. We believe that the synergy of an Events Center and park improvements, including adequate parking for the day to day library programs and special events, is a smart plan for the City of Winter Park.
