Today is National Voter Registration Day!

Today is National Voter Registration Day and we want to make sure that you’re registered to vote

We’ve been working with over 300 libraries to ensure that they are participating in this program and that their community members can register to vote at their local library. With that many libraries participating in this national event and thousands of other participating locations, there is no reason not to check your voter registration status or register to vote today.

Just click here to register to vote online, check your voter registration status, sign up for election alerts, or sign up for an absentee ballot. In states where online voter registration is unavailable, filling out this form will let you print the completed documents you need to register to vote.

This annual event is so important because every year millions of Americans find themselves unable to vote because they miss a registration deadline, don’t update their registration, or aren’t sure how to register. National Voter Registration Day wants to make sure everyone has the opportunity to vote. So today, thousands of volunteers and organizations from all over the country will “hit the streets” in a single day of coordinated field, technology and media efforts. National Voter Registration Day seeks to create broad awareness of voter registration opportunities to reach tens of thousands of voters who may not register otherwise.

If you can’t make it to your local public library then you can do it all here from our online tool. Thanks to a grant from Non-Profit Vote and a partnership with Vote.org we were able to provide these great tools to you to help you register to vote today. In fact, in states that allow online voter registration, you can do it all from where you are reading this right now! In other states, filling out our online form allows you to print the completed documents that you need to register to vote today and you can print those documents at your local library. So there’s no excuse!
