Thank You For Purchasing Our “I Love My Libraries” Pins
We wanted to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who purchased our very special “I Love My Library” pins.
We wanted to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who purchased our very special “I Love My Library” pins.
We sold out of our one-time purchase pins in about 48 hours and we sold out of our pins as part of the ByWater Solutions Matching campaign in about 2 weeks. That was 500 pins sold in just 2 weeks! We are currently in the process of shipping the pins and they should arrive soon!
Thanks to each of you who purchased a pin, we were able to raise over $5,000 to help us fight for libraries and find almost 250 new monthly donors that will help us continue our work well into the future. Your contributions will be put to work identifying library supporters, educating voters about the importance of libraries, and encouraging them to vote yes for library initiatives. We will also be able to train hundreds of library supporters who are working on dozens of campaigns across the country and provide a wide range of resources to those campaigns such as data, tools, seed funding, and much more. Finally, your donations will help us fight for school libraries and fight against library closures and defunding initiatives through our petitions and other actions at action.everylibrary.org. You can find out more about how we put your donations to work by reading our Annual Report that is available here.
If you love libraries and like our work, please feel free to share our monthly donation page on Facebook and Twitter and encourage your friends and family to start a $1, $3, or $5 monthly donation.
We couldn’t have had such a successful fundraiser without our amazing partners. We would love to thank the artist, Levi Greenacres, and librarian Muriel Wheatley for designing the pins and handling the shipping logistics. They will be mailing the pins throughout the next week. We would also love to thank ByWater Solutions for the matching contribution challenge. Through their monthly donor matching challenge, we’ll be able to raise about $9,000 a year to aid our work.
