Thank You Book Riot and Donors!
Thanks to the generosity of Book Riot and their fans, we were able to raise over $15,000 to help fund the fight against censorship in the United States
We’re excited that we were able to close out 2021 with support from Book Riot through their matching donation campaign. They promised to match all donations up to $5,000 - and fans of Book Riot responded by making over $10,000 in small and large donations! That means that we were able to raise over $15,000 to help fund the fight against censorship in the United States.
We are also so grateful that dozens of library supporters started a monthly donation through this campaign!
That means we’re able to continue to fight for libraries well into the future. We’ll be sending all new monthly donors a great pair of socks from John’s Crazy Socks so they can show off their support for libraries wherever they go!
The funds raised during this campaign will be earmarked for anti-censorship efforts across the US. More specifically, they'll be used to identify and deploy a coalition of citizens like you who care about the right to read in communities where that freedom is being challenged.
Right now, you can help us fight against censorship by signing the petition that supports the right to read for all Americans. The petition allows you to quickly find your state legislators and immediately send them an email that lends support to intellectual freedom and the legal right to access and read materials from libraries.
If you’d still like to contribute, we're continuing to offer a great pair of socks from John’s Crazy Socks for every new monthly donor of $5 or more. You can also make one time contributions at everylibrary.org/donate
We are truly grateful and humbled about the generosity of Book Riot and their fans.
