EveryLibrary Partners with Take Your Child to the Library Day for Awareness Building Training Initiative

EveryLibrary is excited to announce its partnership with Take Your Child to the Library Day to co-facilitate a webinar series.

EveryLibrary is excited to announce its partnership with Take Your Child to the Library Day on a webinar series aimed at librarians to build momentum ahead of the 2025 Take Your Child to the Library Day in February.

Take Your Child to the Library Day, an annual event held on the first Saturday of February, is an initiative of the Connecticut Library Consortium. The day is dedicated to bringing families to public libraries. Libraries nationwide have historically participated, creating programs and activities designed to encourage families to visit the library.

Ahead of Take Your Child to the Library Day 2024, EveryLibrary announced that it had become a national partner of the event. This year, in preparation for Take Your Child to the Library 2025, EveryLibrary and Take Your Child to the Library Day will co-facilitate a comprehensive training series for library professionals.

These sessions equip librarians with innovative tools and strategies to increase engagement and participation, ensure the event's success, and build new awareness about the annual event. The series will include three webinars covering communications techniques, advocacy strategies, and coalition-building training.
