Cory Silverberg – Author and sex educator Cory Silverberg is known for What Makes a Baby, ALA Stonewall Honor Book Sex Is a Funny Word, and most recently, You Know, Sex, all illustrated by Fiona Smyth. With a master’s in education from the University of Toronto, Cory’s books on bodies, gender, sex, and puberty are for every kind of young person and every kind of family.
Loretta Lopez – A Mexican-American therapist based in New York City, Loretta Lopez specializes in childhood trauma, mental illness, and patients with refugee and immigrant status. She holds degrees from Columbia University and Bard College. Her debut, City Girls was an American Booksellers Association Indies Introduce middle grade selection.
Tim Lockette – A teacher and former journalist, Tim Lockette’s his book, Tell It True, was a Kirkus Best YA Books of the Year and won the Whippoorwill Book Award for breaking stereotypes about rural youth. His new book, Atty in Love, will be released on September 24, 2024.
Triangle Square Books for Young Readers is celebrating its 12th anniversary and is an imprint of independent publisher Seven Stories Press.
