In 2025, our mission to oppose book bans, censorship, and defunding efforts affecting libraries and schools across the country is more critical than ever. Thanks to supporters like you and events like Scott and Nate’s house party, we are able to make progress, but the fight continues.
EveryLibrary and The EveryLibrary Institute
As a 501c4, EveryLibrary has helped libraries win nearly $3,000,000,000 in funding through voter and political action since its founding in 2012. For every dollar EveryLibrary has raised, we’ve returned more than $1,600 in funding to libraries. The EveryLibrary Institute (ELI), a 501c3 companion, is dedicated to ensuring public and political support for library funding through advocacy training, research, and publishing.
How Can You Help?
Your donations will help us continue to meet our goals for funding operations and supporting campaigns. Your money will be used to secure funding for local libraries, support librarians and library workers, fight state and national legislation and Executive Orders that threaten access to information or denigrate institutions. Donations to EveryLibrary and The EveryLibrary Institute will help us litigate dangerous laws or orders, fund research, and keep Americans informed about the threats to libraries.
