Fighting Censorship, Supporting Libraries and Librarians
EveryLibrary is fighting censorship across the country. We are working with over 50 grassroots groups across the country to fight back against censorship and support libraries and librarians in their local communities. We are also actively monitoring anti-library, anti-access legislation and working with local stakeholders to kill or mitigate these bad bills.
And over the last eleven years we have supported hundreds of library campaigns, we have fought against bad legislation, and fought against school library closures across the country.
Now, more than ever, we are engaged in highly politicized fights to save school libraries and public libraries from book banners. Make no mistake, this isn't a Democrat or Republican issue. We are non-partisan and pro-library.
With support from people like you we have won many of these fights and, in fact, for every dollar we have spent on a campaign we have returned over $1,600 in funding to libraries totaling over $2 billion so far.
That means that a $10 donation helps secure over $16,000 for libraries and a donation of just $1 a month helps secure nearly $20,000 a year!

To date, we have helped libraries win over $2 billion in funding through voter and political action and every week we put over millions of ads about the importance of libraries in front of voters and the American public to encourage them to support and take action for their local libraries. Our research team collects data and conducts much-needed political research to help us find new ways to reach the public and activate them to support libraries.
