EveryLibrary is proud to sit on the advisory board of National Voter Registration Day, and we want to encourage libraries to sign up to participate in this important holiday!
National Voter Registration Day (NVRD) is a nonpartisan national civic holiday created to raise broad awareness of voter registration and help Americans get ready to vote in November.
Every year, hundreds of libraries register to participate, and this year we want to see record numbers!
It's up to us to ensure our community members' votes are counted!
Libraries are encouraged to sign up as community partners for this year's event, to be held on Tuesday, September 15th.
As a community partner, you'll:
- Agree to stay non-partisan
- Have access to library-specific social media materials
- Receive trainings and toolkits to help make it easier to participate
- Utilize non-partisan resources to help you register your community members to vote!
There is no cost to becoming a community partner or receiving materials!
