New VoteLibraries Art & Design for Library Campaigns

EveryLibrary today unveils new VoteLibraries art and design for library campaigns through a partnership with the Creative Action Network (CAN) and sponsored by our individual and vendor donors.

veryLibrary today unveils new VoteLibraries art and design for library campaigns through a partnership with the Creative Action Network (CAN) and sponsored by our individual and vendor donors.

Hosted at EveryLibrary.org/VoteLibraries, six noted international CAN artists have designed new, high-quality images for use by library campaigns across the country, free of charge.  These images are themed #votelibraries and are available for use on campaign social media sites, in print and signage campaigns, and other uses by local Vote YES for library committees to reach neighbors and voters for their library measures.

In addition to free, downloadable campaign art and design, posters and totebag versions of the #votelibraries artwork are available for purchase at our dedicated Creative Action Network "VoteLibraries" site.  Proceeds from the sales help support EveryLibrary, the individual artists, and CAN.  The posters are available framed or unframed, and are suitable for home, office, or to give as a gift.  We are excited to also feature the artwork on totebags because libraries.

Creative support for this project comes from 45 individual donors and six corporate donors who made one-time or recurring donations to help see this new art and design come to fruition.  We are especially thankful to Rebekkah Smith Aldrich, Michael Golrick, and Elizabeth Jefferson from BiblioCommons for making sustaining donations to co-sponsor specific posters.  We also want to acknowledge and thank our corporate partners Mango Languages, DEMCO, EBSCO, Innovative Interfaces, Midwest Tape (Hoopla), and Rosen Publishing for making sustaining donations to co-sponsor specific posters.  For more information about all our project donors and the artists who created this new #votelibraries art and design, please visit VoteLibraries on EveryLibrary.

VoteLibraries will continues to roll out during May 2015. We will be launching a full VoteLibraries.org site, the first site dedicated to engaging the public about local library funding campaigns at the ballot box and beyond. It will feature extensive tools for voter outreach and constituent engagement, and a unique network of support for funding-focused library advocacy and Get Out the Vote, along with the free VoteLibraries images for Library campaign use.

Visit Creative Action Network "VoteLibraries" site to purchase or EveryLibrary.org/VoteLibraries to download low res or high res versions of the art for your library campaign.
