Midwest Tape Donates $3,000 to EveryLibrary

EveryLibrary today announces a new $3,000 donation from Midwest Tape, a leading provider of thousands of free movie, TV, audiobooks and music through Hoopla. Midwest Tape is making its donation in support of EveryLibrary’s work building voter awareness of libraries.

Since early 2013, EveryLibrary has successfully supported 14 library communities as they campaigned for bonds, levies, and other referendum, helping to secure over $40 million in stable tax revenue for these libraries.

“Midwest Tape’s donation adds capacity to 2014 work consulting and advising Vote YES campaigns”, says John Chrastka, EveryLibrary Executive Director. “Midwest Tape is a strong supporter of libraries. We’re proud that they identify our work as high-impact in the library advocacy ecosystem.” EveryLibrary is projecting to work on seven campaigns in November and December 2014.
