Landslide Victory in Hatboro PA

The election day for this library was over two weeks ago but the results required a hand count of ballots due to a computer glitch.

In fact, the first count of the electronic ballots showed the library only won with a handful of votes. Thankfully there was a hand count due to 24 illegible ballots which led to the finding that the electronic ballot readers were incorrectly programmed to read the ballots and the library actually won by an almost 3 to 1 margin!

Join us in Washington for our annual ALA Fundraiser

This year, we'll be hosting our event at Buffalo Billiards, just a short distance from the Convention Center. This fun space offers billiards, skeeball, shuffleboard, ping ping, darts and much more. Your ticket includes access to everything that Buffalo Billiards has to offer and an open bar with beer, wine, and well. Plus, don't forget about those opportunities to meet with and connect with some of your favorite friends and colleagues and meet new people.

Tickets are now $35 until the day of the event and $45 at the door if we don't sell out (but we usually sell out).

EveryLibrary at the Ballpark

Spotlights

UK Libraries Partnership

Our EveryLibrary Institute team is heading to Manchester, England in early July to kick off the national advocacy partnership with CILIP, the library association for the UK. This unique partnership project will focus on identifying, cultivating, and activating people from all across Great Britain in support of their local libraries. The new partnership will harness the skills and networks of both organizations to transform the ability of public libraries to engage and demonstrate public support.

National Disability Vote registration Week in Libraries: July 15 - 19

EveryLibrary is proud to partner with the American Association for People with Disabilities (AAPD) to highlight and promote National Disability Voter Registration Week (NDVRW) in libraries across the country. Libraries can help every American who wants to vote to become registered to vote. Add your library to the list of participating organizations this July 15 - 19, 2019 and plan to support voter registration for disability populations in your community.
