The results of our work speak for themselves. That’s because the work we’ve done has returned over $1,600 to libraries for every $1 donated.
As the nation’s first and only political action committee for libraries, we’re proud that our donors and supporters can measure our success in real numbers and results.
EveryLibrary launched in 2012 as the only national 501c4 for libraries with the grassroots support of a successful crowdfunding campaign.

Libraries Winning At the Ballot Box:
We have provided pro-bono support and direct funding to almost 120 library ballot initiatives helping those libraries win over 1.3 billion dollars in local funding.

Fighting for School Librarians:
We have worked hand-in-hand with over 60 school libraries to help them fight to keep their doors open to students through direct action, funding, and support.

Fighting Library Closures and Defunding:
We have fought against dozens of defunding issues and helped turn the tide against local, state, and federal government agencies trying to shutter or defund public libraries.

Fighting for Good Legislation:
We have provided pro-bono tools, data, and resources to many states who are struggling to fight against bad legislation or to those that are fighting to enact pro-active legislation.
