Illinois Tech Partnership Features Everylibrary
We’re happy to announce that the Illinois Tech Partnership – a broad-based coalition of industry, trade, and advocacy organizations focused on technology policies in Illinois that foster economic development – is featuring a story about EveryLibrary this month:
This month, we asked John Chrastka, founder of fellow advocacy organization EveryLibrary, what tech means to him. If top-of-the-line technology doesn’t jump to your mind when you think of libraries, Chrastka’s interview might change your thinking.
One of the reasons we reach out to and respond to organizations outside of the library space is for just that reason. We’re interested in helping library communities win their funding measures. We can help do that by our training and consulting, but we can also do it by helping to update the perception of libraries and librarians nationally. Check out what ITP does. It is rather effective and libraries should be at their table.
