Support Libraries and Fight Censorship at Read Freely Alabama's House Party Fundraiser (at NewSouth Bookstore) for EveryLibrary!
EveryLibrary is at the forefront of building support for libraries, and protecting against threats of defunding and censorship
In 2024, our mission to oppose book bans in libraries and schools across the country is more critical than ever. Thanks to supporters like you and events like this house party, we’ve made incredible progress, but the fight continues.
To date, EveryLibrary has helped libraries win nearly $3 billion in funding through voter and political action. For every dollar we’ve raised, we’ve returned over $1,600 in funding to libraries.
That means for every $1000 raised at the Read Freely Alabama / NewSouth Bookstore House Party, EveryLibrary can help secure over 1.6 million in funding for libraries - as well as fund grassroots groups who are showing up to support libraries and oppose censorship across the country!
Your support at this house party directly helps us:
-
Show Up for Libraries: EveryLibrary stands with libraries across the country, ensuring they have the resources to fight censorship and thrive.
-
Oppose Censorship: Book bans are a direct attack on intellectual freedom. Your support helps us keep books available to everyone.
-
Build Stronger Communities: Libraries are essential to learning, growth, and connection. Your donation helps keep these community hubs strong and accessible.
Join Us in Making a Difference!
Your donation today, no matter the amount, will ensure EveryLibrary can continue its crucial work in 2024 and beyond. Together, we can stand up for libraries, oppose book bans, and secure the future of these vital institutions.
Donate Now to make your impact felt across the country!
