What is a House Party?
House parties are a quick and fun way to raise money and awareness. The event doesn’t even need to be in your home—you can get people together at a favorite restaurant, café, or bar or have a picnic at a park.
Simply invite your friends and colleagues and tell them why you care about EveryLibrary's work fighting banned books and supporting libraries and librarians.
What Does a House Party Host Do?
- Let EveryLibrary know you want to host a house party. EveryLibrary will meet with you and provide you with a custom donate link, QR code, talking points, etc.
- Send out invitations (through email, social media, etc.)
- Host the event at your home or elsewhere.
-
Collect donations and/or direct donors to donation links; send donations to EveryLibrary (if needed)
