#GetOTL is designed to encourage librarians to do a week of programs or outreach or whimsy or fun in September that flips the image of the institution or breaks down current perceptions in the community. We're sponsoring Library Card Signups Outside again because it fits the bill and radically jumps over the circulation desk.
Last year, 178 libraries across the U.S. and Canada participated. This year, they expect even more. A few weeks ago, the OTL team hosted a great 'how to get involved' webinar that is archived here. We recommend checking out Outside the Lines press room for ready to use items like Press Release templates, website badges, new #getOTL graphics for print/social, social prompts ideas, and campaign logos.
