But for the first time ever, her voice might not be loud enough — we need your help!!
Your favorite Loud Librarian is back with some vital information on how to raise your voice during National Library Week and beyond and join the chorus of parents, families, teachers, and students who support the freedom to learn.
On the Get Loud for Libraries campaign website you’ll find actions you can take whether you have just a couple minutes today, some more time tomorrow, or are ready to work together in the effort to protect libraries.
This week, as we celebrate National Library Week, we're encouraging Americans to get loud and take action to support libraries.
Here is a list of actions you can take to get your voice heard:
- Sign and share the petition to show support for library funding
- Write a letter to the editor of your local paper in support of libraries
- Take action to support federal funding for libraries
- Help us fight for school libraries at saveschoollibrarians.org
