With recent cuts to state aid, the Moniteau County Library board is asking voters in California to equalize their levy support from $.10 cents to $.12 cents. EveryLibrary has provided pro-bono support to the Moniteau County Library board as they assessed funding options to maintain library services in the face of state cuts. The $.02 cent levy is essential funding for the Moniteau County Library and will help it continue programs like Legos on the Library, Children and Youth’s Summer Reading Program, and delivery services for the homebound. Voting YES on April 5th in California ensures that families, students, job seekers, and readers of all ages have the collections they need and the programs they want from their library.
