Challenge – Success! $740 by 7/4 from Michael Golrick

He pledged to fund if we were able to bring in 25 new or renewing recurring member donors between 6/22 and 7/4.  And you responded!

 

Since EveryLibrary is 100% donor funded, recurring monthly donors help smooth out our operations and allow us to be ready if something big happens that needs our immediate engagement.  All told, 26 people donated because of the Challenge. Of those, 15 came in as recurring donors (which is huge, and he's cool about the other donors being $50+ each, so...). Our total donations for the month was $645, but our total with all the recurring donors - for the year - is $2,175.  Either way you look at it, it was a success.

 

I want to thank Michael for putting up this Challenge. It means a lot to have people like him supporting our work. We know from helping with 21 winning libraries since we started that for every dollar we've put into our campaigns we return $1600 to the library community in stable taxes. This Challenge - both Michael's personal pledge and the response from new and renewing donors - will be leveraged into $4,664,000 in library funding.  Which is pretty incredible.
