ByWater Challenge – Met!!

We’re very happy to report that our 2nd Anniversary Challenge from ByWater Solutions has been met!

ByWater challenged 15 people to step up and become monthly reoccurring EveryLibrary donors and they’d match those folks with a $1,500 contribution to our work. Their check is in hand and it’s already going to work on our November 2014 campaigns, and beyond!

ByWater co-CEO Branden Gallagher and I we’re talking at our Mango / TreeHouse / EveryLibrary after-party in Vegas about how they could get involved supporting our work.  We decided on this challenge for two reasons:  monthly donors smooth out our cash flow, and as a new organization that is critical to our ability to respond quickly from existing funds; and, ByWater likes doing things for their libraries that are smart, innovative, and fun.  We’re honored that all 15 spots on our Challenge list were filled.  On a monthly basis of $10s and $20s each, our individual donors are helping us at $220 per month – which is $2640 per year. Which is about what it takes to run one smaller campaign.  I appreciate Brendan and his team for recognizing the leverage they could bring.  EveryLibrary is honored to have their support as a corporate donor.
