EveryLibrary is proud to announce that Bond Architects, Inc., a leading architectural and design firm specializing in libraries, schools, and municipal buildings, is today becoming a new donor.

With this new donation, EveryLibrary is able to extend its pro-bono campaign advising and consulting to libraries in the midwest and across the country when funding is on the line. Bond Architects joins 35 other library-focused corporate and vendor partners who add capacity to EveryLibrary’s mission of “Building Voter Support for Libraries.”

“We are excited to partner with Bond Architects to help libraries run better campaigns and win the funding they need to renovate, remodel, and build 21st century libraries in their communities,” says John Chrastka, EveryLibrary executive director. “Bond Architects’ commitment to working with rural libraries on innovative building projects is well known. We are excited to be able to extend our campaign supports to rural and small libraries because of their donation.” In 2018, EveryLibrary is working with 20 library communities on their funding referendum and bond elections, including in Ferguson, MO., Adams County, CO., and Douglas, MA.

“EveryLibrary is an effective library advocacy organization. They carry out exactly what their mission states: they build voter support for libraries,” said Sue Pruchnicki, Principal at Bond Architects. “Their approach to running library elections is impressive, and we are glad to know that our donation will help libraries win funding in small towns and rural communities, especially.” Bond Architects’ recent library projects include renovations and additions at 13 branches of the St. Louis County Library District system and new libraries in the towns of Fenton and Creve Coeur. “We are proud to be EveryLibrary’s newest donor,” adds Pruchnicki.

EveryLibrary and Bond Architects will be co-hosting a reception for library staff and leaders at the Association of Rural and Small Libraries (ARSL) conference in Springfield, IL on September 13th to celebrate successful campaigns and building projects.
