This book banning effort is a well-funded coordinated effort from extremists pushing Christian nationalist views upon the entire nation. It’s going to take a well-funded, coordinated effort to push back on that. With H.R. 7661 headed to a floor vote in Congress, a vote that the extremist book banners expect to win, we have to move quickly and surely. That’s why AABB and EveryLibrary are partnering up. To educate the public, support our grassroots partners, and empower the community of readers nationwide to kill terrible bills like the national book banning bill. For every $100 we raise, we can reach 10,000 views for our message: that the government should not dictate what we are allowed to read.
