“The guidance EveryLibrary provided to staff and trustees on Information Only Campaigns, messaging, and the process was invaluable to us. All the more so because it was provided pro-bono. Their personal engagement helped allay fears and reassure us along the way, too. Thanks to EveryLibrary you for the great work you do for libraries.”

Jeannie Dilger, Executive Director, Palatine (IL) Public Library District

I am so unbelievably grateful for the help and support I was given by EveryLibrary. They got the word out at such a crucial point in the election, which is why our fight went national and then international.

Laura Sanders, Director, Lafourche Parish (LA) Public Library system

You and your team are doing great work and every librarian should be supporting EveryLibrary! I’ve made my contribution a recurring monthly donation and I wish you all the best. Thanks for the work that you’re doing and I am proud to put my support behind it!

Richard Huffine

Thanks for providing the vision and the leadership to create this incredibly valuable resource for libraries across the United States. Libraries have a long history of collaboration and cooperation in the development of services for our communities, and it’s time we stand together in the political arena as well. Cheers.

Derek Wolfgram

The smartest thing I did with this campaign was to contact you and ask for your help!!!! It was a pleasure working with EveryLibrary. You were a GREAT support!

Brenda Crider, Director, Bucyrus Public Library

I give monthly because I believe in what they do to keep libraries open and available to all.

A Win in Whitesburg

People like you helped us support the Whitesburg Friends of the Library and keep another library open. EveryLibrary was proud to support this Georgian Library through a petition campaign on the industry's most advanced advocacy platform. We were able to use donations from the Rapid Response Fund to run targeted ads in the community to encourage people to sign the petition and attend the city council meeting. Hundreds of local residents signed the petition and took action to support this library. Your donations and support make all of this possible!

Read More, Hate Less

In a 2015 exchange, Barack Obama told American novelist and essayist Marilynne Robinson that the most important things he learned about being a citizen came from novels. He said it “had to do with empathy, with being comfortable with the notion that the world is complicated and full of greys, and that it’s possible to connect with somebody even if they’re different from you.”

Announcing the Banned Book Store!

EveryLibrary is excited to launch the Banned Book Store at bannedbookstore.co as the most comprehensive list of currently banned and challenged books in the United States.  Many of the book challenges come from individuals who have never read the books and who have been encouraged by national right wing organizations to present excerpts out of context to villainize and demonize librarians while building a case for horrific legislation that allows the government to bans books that don't agree with their current political ideologies.
